0140 - EV Charging Technician Course

Course Description

The EV Charging Equipment Technician course is designed to provide a practical introduction to the Siemens VersiCharger, with an emphasis on the networking and commissioning process. Participants will gain a general understanding of the charger’s hardware, electrical specifications, and required connections. While electrical installation and safety procedures will be briefly covered, the primary focus will be on the steps involved in commissioning the charger and establishing proper network communication.

We will also explore common challenges that can occur during the commissioning process and how to effectively troubleshoot them. To support this, the course includes essential networking fundamentals that will help participants better understand and resolve connectivity or configuration issues.

By the end of the training, you will be able to successfully commission a Siemens VersiCharge and demonstrate a solid understanding of the supporting electrical and networking systems.

This 24 hour course will be delivered in-person on our Statesboro Campus, Monday-Wednesday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

The registration fee is currently being covered by a grant provided through the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
