Course Description

This course is for individuals who are needing to become a BLS Healthcare Provider instructor or a Heartsaver instructor through the American Heart Association. To be eligible for this training, you must hold a valid and current American Heart Association certification card in the respective discipline you wish to teach, and be at least 16 years of age.

About one week prior to the course, you will recieve an email containing a link to the online content that must be completed prior to the course. The online content should only take about 2 hours.

Course fee includes all costs associated with obtaining your AHA instructor certification.

 

Ogeechee Technical College reserves the right to cancel any Continuing Education class due to the class not meeting minimum registration requirements or any other circumstance that would make the class not viable to be held. In the event of a cancellation, students will be given the option of attending another class that is currently scheduled or receive a refund for the registration fee. Cancellation notices will be provided by email no less than 24 hours in advance.
